I had the SAME problem when I first got my SG, gizmo. She wouldn't come out of the cage for anything! so i'd just put my hand in the cage and she'd crawl on it then jump off then after a few nites she'd crawl up my arm further, then further, then finally she'd come out but only play on her cage and not around in my room. then she got used to being out and luvs exploring my room! I think she just needs time, i don't think you should force her out.
