For those of you who have not had the pleasure, I am the person who makes Bourbon seem moderate. I am a 33 year old British import who now lives in New England. I have had gliders for almost five years and have the mentality that I have yet to meet a glider that I didn't like but this does not extend to their owners!!!!!!!
I started with two gliders Lucifer and Beelzebub (Luci and Bubba) at the time that the glider community was forming. We all flocked to Ruth's page and learnt the basics. I saw the ISGA start, argued with their leaders and decided to keep apart. I have now seen them fold amongst strife.

My gliders had babies and I tried to find homes for them. I have now another five gliders retrieved from irresponsible owners and have placed others. I do not approve of impulse buyers, children buying gliders and uninformed people. I have seen far too many people discard their pets because of minor inconveniences and I loath these people and blame them entirely. I also loath the use of Briskys and feel that anyone feeding Briskys is being cruel whether intentional or not. I feel that having these animals as pets is a gift and a huge responsibility not a right.
I am not a peace maker but do anything I can to save an animal pain.

If you ask me if it is ok to have cats/ dogs and gliders I will say be careful. I also say that if you make that choice if the animal dies its blood is on your hands. People should realize that gliders rely on us for everything and if they suffer we are to blame and there is no such thing as an accident, they are only tragedies waiting to happen.

I host one of the pages on the web telling of the downsides of gliders. I have had countless emails telling me that I hate gliders and should shut up as I know nothing about them. I do the page from love not hate and thankfully many see that.
