Subject: Glider available in OK
Posted by Jane on July 23, 1998 at 15:31:39:

I have just recieved an email from a student in Salina OK. He has a glider taht his folks got for him after he had merely mentioned taht he had seen them on the net. Now he feels this glider needs a better home.
I will repost the statements he made for your perusal. This is not a friendly baby but hopefully someone will contact this guy and sort out the glider. These storeis break my heart but I keep hearing them regardless
of my page and my pleas for responsibilities.
>then have to pay $200 more a month in the end. I didn't even really
>get the glider. I came home from college one weekend and told my
>parents about this cool animal that I had seen on the internet and how
>I sort of wanted one. Next thing I know, Christmas rolled around and
>I came home and there it was. My dad works with a guy who had him as
>a pet. He was in what I consider a much worse situation. The guy who
>had him before me traveled for his job as does my father. So he just
>took the glider with him sometimes when he traveled and other times he
>left him at home with his wife. Anyway I think he would be much
>better off with other gliders and someone who can spen time with him.
>I would like to find someone who would like to buy him or if it's the
>right people they could just adopt him. He's not very tame, partly
>because I have heard that gliders become detached and wild when they
>are not around other gliders or their owners a really lot. If you
>could a good home for him I would be grateful and I'm sure he would be
>much happier. Thanks.
