Do it during the day, when the glider is too sleepy to argue much. Keep the glider in the pouch or wrapped in a piece of fabric, and take one paw out at a time. Only clip the very tip of the nail...if you look at the nail, you will see little veins (pink area) at the base of it, and pure white at the tip. Be very careful not to clip into the pink part! Just the tip. Don't clip their dew claws (the joined grooming nails on their back paws).
Usually clip nails once a week. A babies nail clipper is best, because of the size.
Another way is to put a strip of fine grade sandpaper in a wodent wheel, leave it in overnight or two nights. Check the gliders toes, and remove it when they are ground down a bit. Never leave the sandpaper in there more than 3 days, and check their paws nightly.
