: I want to get two Gliders but my parents are divorced. I've been researching them and know alot about them. My dad said he woulldn't take care of them if I wasn't here but I know he would, (because he loves cute little animals,) and the Gliders could also play with each other. Any tips to persuade my Dad?

If you really really want a glider, write down everything you know about them. Basically, write a long report on gliders based on your research. Cover every part of glider life, their food, cage, bonding, common problems, everything! Look at all the questions Fuzzy Lover asked in his post back to you, answer them all in your report. Make up a time schedule showing when you would be spending time with and feeding your glider...and remember, they sleep all day. Read Bourbon's whole website and write about everything on it. Your report should be quite long.
Call up vets in your area, and find one that treats sugar gliders, and find out how much a visit would cost. Once you've written all that you can in your own words, give it to your Dad. This will show that you really care about having a glider, and have learned everything you can about them.
I won't promise this will make your Dad change his mind, but it will show him you are really committed.
