Both of a glider that pelted out a rat in a heart beat and ate it, and of a rat attacking a glider and it eventually dying of infections and complications. I fear that your son is in for a heart ache if he keeps them together. Not only do you have to concern yourself with that but also with possible infections from bacteria that the rodent might be harboring. I have nothing against rats. I use to raise some rats and they were beautiful, intelligent pets but can not compare to what I have found with the gliders. I do hope that your son does not experience the loss of one of his pets from keeping them together.
