thanks bourbon! it's been a struggle so far with the pet store. my hubby just got a pt second job there. he works with the fish and loves it. With him working there i've been able to win the trust of alot of the girls that work in small pets and they believe what i say but the manager for the small pets section (who's been feeding her glider cat food and such for 3 years) doesn't want to take the time to listen! UGH! They are currently feeding them gliderade, dried fruits, catfood and an occassional mealworm or sunflower seed! UGH! Anyway, as soon as i get some ink for my printer if i can get your permission to do so...I'll probably print out several things from your pages! I would like to create a little new owners manual that they can give people who buy from them to give them insight on diet, how to bond, etc. I took two of my gliders in with me last time we went to the pet store and the general manager was there. I kept peeking in the bonding pouch and talking to my babies and finally he approached me and asked what was in there. I told him and he was like...you carry them with you??? I said all the time..and he said aren't they mean? I said not my babies!!! So i got them out and handed them to him! He was amazed....he said that he had never seen gliders that didn't bite (well if they worked with the ones at the pet store!!!! was my thoughts on it). he asked how they got so sweet ....i responded by taking time to spend with them and showing them that they are loved. He was amazed...he even told the small animals manager about my babies! hehe!!!!! thought i'd share! thanks again!
