Subject: New Glider Owner

I have been a glider owner for about 6 months now. I regularly read this board, and it has been very useful to me in being able to learn from others' questions and experiences. I have only posted to this board 1 or 2 times.

Now, dont get mad, but it seems that these continuing arguments might scare off some people who are afraid of being put down due to their inexperience. I worked in a veterinary clinic for over 3 years, and believe me, there are inexperienced owners of every type of animal. I learned that you can't make them feel guilty or stupid for their questions, even if they do make you want to get on your soapbox. (Believe me, I have my issues: spay/neuter of dogs & cats, vaccinations, chaining up, etc.)

I mean, I have years of experience with many types of animals, but I have been a little afraid to post on this board. Imagine how it must feel to very inexperienced owners or potential owners.

This arguments can be entertaining but they are not informative.

Well, this is just my two cents worth.
