My oldest glider's nails have not been cut for over a year. He has never been caught on anything. I keep a very good eye on him and his nails have never been a problem. The nails do not grow that long because of natural sanding weather it be from tree bark or other objects. I am not saying this is the best way for every glider owner. If you are worried about them getting hurt or you getting scrached, do cut there nails. Agian it is your pet and your reponsibiliy, do what you think is best for your glider.
