I've never had a glider with babies in her pouch injure them because she was fed pinkies/mice. I use them because it is a very complete nutritional package with protien, calcium, and lots of trace vitamins and minerals.

Will your gliders do all right without them? With a good diet of other protiens and calcium they will be fine. Of course I would be fine without a good steak, but that doesn't mean that I would like to spend my life without ever eating steak.

: I was just curious why you chose now to do this? Is it to give her extra umph because of her mastitis?
: And I know that Baybe is a wonderful mommy, but were you at all nervous doing it when she has babies in pouch?
: One last question... I hate bugs, but would never take them away from my babies because I know they love them and need them. Are pinkies that vital that people should really just bite the bullet and (in my case a few shots of tequilla!) do it or is it possible to get enough from leadbeaters and buggies?
