Brit....maybe your pet store is ok..but mine is not. Pet stores are generally not the best place to buy sugar gliders..at least in what little experience I have. I have been doing research on sugar gliders for several weeks now, and it sounds like the info you have is either outdated or you misread it perhaps. Lots of people have ONE healthy happy glider. Some people get two at first, and find that maybe one would be a better idea. Some gliders actually prefer to be the only one, if given a lot of attention. You should find out when your book was written. Information on gliders is constantly changing....you can get good advice and info from people that have real life exp here.
