My Sacer did fine, of course I stayed and "held his hand" through his surgery, I was there for him when he woke up.. This was my vets 3rd glider neutering but she did well. Her first was on a joey of mine who she got from me. He did great, she was reading the article again while doing her first neutering after a few months of making sure she had everything right. Just like his younger brother, my Sacer is one of the ones who likes to mutilate so he ended up with a nice x-ray e-collar. My vet is getting so good at making those now! ;-) Sacer is doing fine 2 hours after surgery. I gave him a few licks of leadbeaters, some apple juice diluted with water, and a couple chunks of a peeled grape. He's falling asleep on my lap now. Im glad I didnt get all worried, cuz it would have been wasted energy. He's doing great now. He did find a way to rub his collar against the glue and Im worried later he might really get going with this so I will be up all night with him just to be sure he's ok the first night.
