Lori, if you decide to take your glider to the vet for anything know that it will be very expensive. Of course, sometimes this cannot be avoided. If you practice with your glider and cut his/her nails on a regular basis then he/she will get used to the occurance and will no longer fuss about it. Whenever I cut my gliders nails I usually need someone else to hold his body and I cut the nails.
