Subject: Is your male neutered? n/m Posted by Ms. Shell on February 21, 2000 at 00:01:20 from 216.160.232.177 In Reply to: Introducing Gliders to Each Other posted by Tanya on February 20, 2000 at 23:37:54: : I have three Gliders that I have had for 2 years now. When the littlest of the three was a few months old, I tried to introduce her into the cage with the other two. (The other female had accepted the male right away.) Well, it didn't go well at all. The older female attacked and scared the baby very badly. The baby has been living by herself for these two years. Some of you may have read my posting earlier today about my baby having bald spots and weeping. From watching her tonight, it is very obvious to me that she is stressed out. She appears to want to get into the cage with the other two. I am so afraid to try it again. With the other two, they just accepted each other readily and I didn't have to do anything. : Any suggestions as to how I can make another attempt at uniting all three of them? The two females squawk at each other constantly. They hang on the side of the cage and pace and squawk (not crabbing). I just put her pouch in the other cage and they investigated it thoroughly, and still are. I also placed their pouch in her cage. (I have placed their clean ones in each cage also, so that they can retreat to their own smell.) (The baby has finally stopped pacing, now that she is inside of their pouch.) : Help! I don't know what to do. : Thanks,
