: My youngest glider was "weeping" this morning. She sounded so sad. I went to talk to her and when I took out her sleeping pouch to look at her, she has a few bald spots. I have not been the world's best mommy, as far as playing with my gliders, but I try to be very careful about cleaning their cages regularly and feeding them a variety of foods. Could the fact that I haven't given them vitamins lately be the cause of the bald spots? I have a vet in Dallas that neutered a male glider that I have, but she really doesn't know any thing about them. Does anyone have any ideas or know of a good vet in Dallas, TX? I will start the vitamins again ASAP.

: Thank you for any help that you can provide.

I see you already got a referral to a vet. It is important to remember that vitamin D-3 and a calcium supplemement are not optional. They must receive these supplements on a regular basis for basic health. Vacations from supplements puts a strain on their systems and can be damaging.
