: I have heard all kinds of different diets for the Gliders like fruits, cat food, and special food. Can anyone with a Glider tell me what you feed them everyday??? Thank You!

I feed Bourbon's modified leadbeaters with fresh fruits and veggies, like TaraRae. I freeze fresh fruits and veggies once a month in airtight bags (about 7-8 different things), put out some each night. I tried all kinds of fruits/veggies until I found ones they liked. They get 3-4 types each night. You can find Bourbon's website under links, her recipe and recommended portions are there. I think leadbeaters w/fruits & veggies is the most popular diet for beginners. Its a no worry deal.
I tried Briskys, it works but my gliders and I found it way too boring. You can't add anything to it without balancing problems.
I also feed them mealworms (2-3 medium each, nightly) and crickets (2-3 nightly, when I have them). They get Gerber juice from a baby bottle and pinon nuts/sunflower seeds as treats by hand. Sometimes baby foods they can lick off my finger as a treat.
As everyone said, cat food is too controversial, I'm not taking any risks.
