I had a single male for close to a year before purchasing a companion for him. My female was about 12 weeks old when I bought her, and a lot smaller, and I was afraid to put them together. I placed her in a cage next to his for about 2 weeks, then let them together. They loved each other right from the start, my female bossed the male around from the start. I have found that my male is less interested in my company since, but is far from anti-social. I find that he seems much happier now!

Hope this helps!

I've had my Glider for 9 Months. I spend alot of time with him, but i still feel that he needs a Glider companion. I would like to hear from other Glider Lovers out their that bought a single Glider and then later bought another one. I have heard that they smell really bad when you put a male and a female together. Is that true? I would like to hear the good and bad points of owning more than one Glider. He is very well bonded to me. I am afraid that if i get him a glider companion it will break the bond that we have.
