A sugar glider is a marsupial that glides from tree to tree. They are an extremely fragile animal in that if you do not feed them the correct diet including extra calcium and Vitamin D-3 they will die a long and painful death. If you do not give them enough attention (2 to 4 hours a day)they will die of loneliness. They are nocturnal, so you must pout up with barks and chirps all night long. If not given enough fresh water they will die.

These are not an impulse buy animal. They require a lot of care and committment from the human who gets one. Most good glider owners will research for months, sometimes years before buying one. Did I mention that they are not litter trainable and will poop and pee on everything incliding you? Oh and you cannot discipline them because they will learn to fear and hate you you if you hit.
