I have to disagree there, many GREAT breeders ask much more than 80.00 for their gliders for several reasons, I am one of them, not only is cost an issue with me, but you will be drilled as to your knowledge on how to care for them, My gliders are far from being anything short of super sweet, and I spend many hours of the days and nights helping people who don't WANT to spend money or time with their pets. I personaly feel offended, as would anyone else that sells theres for a substantially higher amount. It is the people that sell theres for well under the markeyt price that will eventually turn them into a disposable pet. Gliders are unique, and have very unique needs. If someone can't afford at least the market price for a glider, i would be concerned as to how they would pay a vet bill of a couple hundred dollars. not to mention what it costs to set up cages, and books, toys food etc.. Cheap people need to go out and buy cheap pets.. maybe a mouse or hamster that won't live 15 years.. Before you generalize good breeders based on prices, you better look at some of the gliders of those breeders..
