My gliders hate having their nails cut, and they do think I am being
really mean to them. But it has to be done, and sometimes weekly, so
taking them to the vet would get really expensive. I make sure that I snuggle
with them and get them in a lovey mood before I cut the nails, and give them
several mealworms during the process to appease them. They struggle and bite while I
do it, but they get over it pretty quickly and will not hold it against me
for very long.
