I had my female glider for about a year and a half. She was very bonded to me and quite happy, but I decided to get her a friend her own size. I got another female baby, and kept them in separate cages for about 3 nights with supervised encounters. After those three nights of them barking and struggling to be together, they have been in the same cage together and absolutely adore eachother. My older glider was so intrigued with the baby, and the baby wanted a mother. My older glider seems happy with her new friend whom we've had about a year now, she isn't as attatched to me anymore, but she is still very loving and sweet-she just doesn't need my constant snuggles. I am really happy we got the baby glider-my first glider was not lonley before, but I think she is very content now and it is so sweet to see two happy faces poking out of their nest box instead of one.
