I don't remember where I red they kill gliders, but I read it in several places. The reason is that the roaches have injested soemthing harmful from a home. Then the glider eats the roach..gets the toxins in its body..gets sick..and sometimes dies. You are lucky that your ate one and seems fine. No one ever said that a glider will die from eating one, but it very well could. Be greatful that it only ate one, and try to prevent this from hapening again. If you want to feed your glider insects then get them from a store. When gliders eat them in the wild, the insects are wild too...and have a little chance of carrying domestic toxins.
