Look for something that says it is safe to use on children's toys and it might be safe for your glider. Usually I just suggest that you don't use wood as a part of the cage. Use branches that you can replace frequently as cage toys. Maria : i am working on a new cage for my gliders. the cage before last contained some wood that began to stink from the gliders scent glands. on this new cage, there is a wood frame, i was wondering if it was possible to coat the wood frame in some kind of varnish to prevent odor. answers would be very much apriciated as i am finishing the cage today and tomorrow. : -kat
