Jill, people are getting upset only because of one person's comments. The problem state is CA where gliders could easily establish a colony and disrupt crops. CA is very reliant on its crops. The thought that someone may be illegally breeding and selling gliders in a state where tehy may do harm upsets us. If a person caused havoc by inconsiderate glider behavious all gliders could be castigated and blamed. We just want people to be responsible and even vet care is a minor point in the whole picture. If someone had an illegal breeding pair say in Alaska or MA and had a vet tahtw orked with them there would be no major backlash. We are just trying to point out that Ca is actually being reasonable and reasonable laws should not be broken. : I saw a posting down aways from this one. I was wondering wy every one gets so nasty about this subject I thuoght gliders could not live in the desert or in places were it snows isnt places like florida a better climit for them.Only certan parts of the state in question have even temps the rest is ether extreme one way or extreme the other.I was just wondering it seems to be a touchy subject. And I didnt understand the vishus nus of it all.Dont get mad at me though I am just asking
