I think it is great that you DO stick up for younger kids that want a glider. I am not a whole lot older (22) and when I was younger I thought I was a lot more mature than most people my age. But when I think about if THOSE people got a glider I would feel terribly sorry for that animal! So if you ARE responsible and you DO make a great parent (which there are SEVERAL members of this board that are young and make superb owners) then don't let those posts get to you. You say that you are more mature than people your age. With that in mind, think of those people your age and imagine them trying to take on the care of a sugar glider. Then you will feel the same way we do about it! We just want gliders to be safe and happy, whether the owner is young or old. :-)
