We have seen alot that could go either way, as Elwin had said, the little male will try to mate with the female, but the history of these gliders are still a little fuzzy to me, is the alpha male the little ones dad? I will assume this to be true.. If so the Alpha male will as Elwin said, kill the joeys if the beta male is the father, or worse yet, the Alpha Male will kill the beta male, for messing with his "woman" Rather than removeing him, why not just neuter him? that way they can still stay together as a family, and you won't have all those raging hormones, to deal with. We had our male in with mom and dad, upon maturity, we had many a nasty "scrappin" between dad and son.. we ended up finding a great home for him, once you separate them, you won't want to reintroduce him at a lter time, the chances of him being accepted BACK, is a rare one. I would suggest neutering, that way if you ever do find a home for him, he will already be done..
