Don't rush it. Make sure he loves his pouch and he feels safe in it, give him his 3 days with his pouch, that means day 1 passed , two more days.. during this time open the cage door and keep offering him licky treats, as many times as you can a day, don't try to pet him or hold him just yet. This will teach him to trust you. Be sure when offering him the licky treats, that you only allow him a few licks, then pull your hand out. You want to teach him to lick you, don't wait till he bites you. If he crabs at you just freeze, wait till he is done crabbing , then move in a little closer..you are doing great , but if you rush it, you will have to start back at step one, this may seem a little long, but bel;ieve me, the trust you will be building is worth it..
