Hope your testing goes well. Diabetes runs in our family, and I know it can be scarry. Great bonding time. It is so neat when they stay with you quietly for a while.
I know what you mean about biting. Once you have a blood test by one of the little darlings, you have a tendency to be a little more careful than normal.
I have found that if I let mine lick my find for an extended length of time, then yes they do have a tendency to bite. I usually give them a couple of free licks before drawing my finger back.
