As we all know each glider has his/her own personalty. Some bond easily and some don't. Some will stay in a pocket all day and some just run all over you. Some of mine like to glide and some don't seem to have a clue as to what gliding is all about. In this case, I have been able to coax some to glide by placing them on something a little higher than my head and holding out my hands to them. Call their name. The first time will probably just be a tentative jump. Move back a little farther after the first few "jumps" and they should get the idea. This however does not mean that they are going to be gliding all over the place. Mine still pefer to "glide" to me, but the distance is getting quite impressive. Oh yes, all this is assuming that you and your glider are bonded and they don't just run away as soon as you set them down.
Hope this helps.
