Welcome to the site!!! My baby's name is Kazoo, and he wakes up at 11:30 every night, he keeps better time than my watch, and i have been told that this is a pretty normal time for them to wake. I do wake him up earlier sometimes, and we play for a while, and then he goes back to bed until his cute little body tells him to wake up. I f you wake them up at the same time every day (which i usually dont do) they will get used to it and be waiting for you. I usually wake him up with a tasty treat waiting...that way he is less crabby. Hope that helps TaraRae

: Hi! Yes, I am a new-comer to this site. I have two gliders (Giblett & Chaco) that I love very much and from what I gathered from past messages, there are a lot of good supportive people here. Question: My gliders typically sleep until 11-11:30 pm...is this too late to let them sleep? Is it bad if I wake them up before they REALLY wake up?

: Also, just an f.y.i. to anybody living in the Houston area and are thinking about getting a glider...DO NOT GO TO S&S EXOTICS. They do not keep their gliders in sanitary conditions and in my opinon, abuse them. I don't mean to bash anyone now, but I purchased Chaco from them and being a new glider owner at the time, I was not educated enough to see the signs of "bad glider conditions". In fact, I believe that Chaco was sold to me WAY BEFORE he was old enough to be separted from his mommy. Makes me want to cry...Anyway, I am happy that I found this site and I will be a "regular" from now on :o)
