: Hi! Yes, I am a new-comer to this site. I have
two gliders (Giblett & Chaco) that I love very much
and from what I gathered from past messages, there
are a lot of good supportive people here. Question:
My gliders typically sleep until 11-11:30 pm...is
this too late to let them sleep? Is it bad if I wake
them up before they REALLY wake up?

: Also, just an f.y.i. to anybody living in the
Houston area and are thinking about getting a
glider...DO NOT GO TO S&S EXOTICS. They do not keep
their gliders in sanitary conditions and in my
opinon, abuse them. I don't mean to bash anyone now,
but I purchased Chaco from them and being a new
glider owner at the time, I was not educated enough
to see the signs of "bad glider conditions". In
fact, I believe that Chaco was sold to me WAY BEFORE
he was old enough to be separted from his mommy.
Makes me want to cry...Anyway, I am happy that I
found this site and I will be a "regular" from now on
:o)

mine wake up at different times, and sometines i get them out early and let them crawl around for awhile. i give them something sweet to eat when i wake them up cos they wake up with low bloodsugar from sleeping all day, but mostly i play with them at about 4 in the morning, sometimes their up and sometimes not. 90% of the time though lucy is barking about that time waiting for me to get her!!!!! her barking doesnt bother me, i love her waiting for me!!!!!
I am with you on pet stores, i think they are cruel for all animals.
