Subject: My glider: Chaco (long msg)

Sorry for ANOTHER posted message! I was just reading this chart on website "Angelfire" showign the growing process of gliders. As I was reading this chart, my heart just dropped.
Chaco, my youngest glider who I got in mid-December at this terrible pet store, was I suspected too young to be separated from his mom. Chaco has been very defensive ever since I got him and is getting very mean and bites all the time. Still, I love the little guy to death. Now, when I bought Chaco, his tail fur was still conforming to this tail (almost wet looking and not fluffy) and seemed a little retarded (i.e. run and glide into walls, didn't know how to climb the bars in cage, very uncoordinated, tryed to hold onto Giblett's back, etc.). Do you think that Chaco is permanantly traumatized? Is it possible to tame a glider in this situation? He's bonded with Giblett, my older glider, but still snaps at him. When he gets bigger, his bites will really, really hurt. Please send any insight to this situation as my bonding attempts with Chaco have done nothing. Thank you so much!!!!
