Well I just took Puddin to the Vets. She has lost approximately one third of her body weight. They are giving her some kind of injections to rehydrate her because she will not drink anything on her own. I am posting this mostly to let people know how quickly a glider can become ill. Saturday night she didn't quite seem to be herself. She didn't climb out of her bed when I came into the room like she usually does and she just seemed to be a bit out of it. She was eating and drinking though so I wasn't too worried at that time. Sunday afternoon I checked on her and she looked really bad. When I picked her up she just lied there. Normally she crawls around and checks things out. She was still eating a drinking a little but I was very worried because she just seemed so much worse than the night before. None of the Vets in the little town I live in treat gliders. Plus since it was the weekend they were closed. Anyhow I had to wait until this morning to take her with me to work so that I could drop her off at her usual vet there. I am hoping she will make it through the night but it doesn't seem likely. Looking back I really should have found a vet near by my house when we moved that treats gliders. Anyhow, I will keep you posted on her condition.

Teresa
