: I live in Oregon and was wondering if it would be bad to take my glider camping with me. She has a travel cage and a really warm 'winter' pouch as well as a 'summer' pouch in her cage. When we go camping it is warm in the day and cold at night (around 30 degrees). Like I said, she has a real warm pouch to sleep in if she gets cold. This will be my first summer with Nelli, and I go camping every other weekend and don't want to leave her with a person that she does not know. Of course, I will leave her at home if the cold is too cold. Any one taken their glider camping???
: Thank you

my opinion is NO. simply because 30 degrees is enough to freeze meat and she is such a tiny thing, Their natural temperature range is 60-90 and they get colds really fast and can die. when they get sick you don't know how bad it is till it's too late. plus how big is the travel cage, will she be able to play in a wheel or be couped up in a really small space, which is really irrellevant because she'll probably stay in her pouch and hibernate till you get her home to sane temperatures!!!!
