I agree about S&S. I too got my little girl there. The woman was trying to sell me another one that had crusty eyes. I looked at every single female and found one that looked really healthy. Yeah, right. Brought her home and two days later she was very sick. I took her to my vet and she was put on alot of meds. But she made it through and I have a wonderful and happy girl! They do not screen buyers at all. This guy was there buying one and she was trying to sell him a carrying pouch and he said "No, way..I want this animal to just sit on my shoulder and hang out". She did not say I word so I spoke up and told him to get a snake!I went on about the upkeep of gliders and luckily changed his mind.

: Welcome! I'm relatively new - to the site - myself. Sounds like Chaco is a pretty lucky little one.
: These little darlings are night owls. They are getting up about the regular time for gliders. You can wake them gently earlier but don't expect they will be real happy about it until they get used to you. Waking them early is a good time to spend some quiet quality time with your little ones, just petting and talking softly until they wake on their own. Oh yeah, like most of us they will need to releave themselves upon waking, so be prepared. Just one of those little glider things we all put up with.
: You're right, there are alot of caring people with a fountain of information about these wonderful pets. Feel free to ask anything. The only "dumb" question is an unasked question.
