My female joey did not eat a cricket or meal worm until she was 12 weeks oop. She still prefers crickets over meal worms which is good because they are less fattening. I would try them every week though. They keep in a container for three to four months, The crickets you can freeze. As far as the leadbetters, she has to have at least 1-2 teaspoons of baby applejuice mixed in it. The first batch I made did not have applejuice in the recipie. Every time I would serve it to her I would have to add it. The second batch I made I put applejuice in it. She likes it better. But her favorite is to add apple juice to the frozen ledbetters and mush it up. Try this. It could be that it is not sweet enough for your glider. She also will not eat eggs and I think she was tasting the egg in the ledbetters. By putting applejuice in with it, it overcomes the egg and chicken flavor. She won't eat any other kinds of meat, so I depend on the ledbetters, mealworms and crickets for her protein. Some babyfoods contain more protein than others, even fruits and vegetables. Read the labels, but don't buy spinach because it contains onion powder. I hope this helps. I hope you still have some ledbetters left to try. Remember, most children don't like brocolli, etc. but develop a taste throught their maturity, so keep trying.
