: about 2 months ago i noticed my glider's tail seemed slighly kinked one evening. i took him to the vet, my vet has some experience with gliders but not lots. he said it would be ok, it didnt feel broken. it seemed ok for awhile after that, i figured it was just scabbing. he could move it even at the tip, he can curl it around my finger. he still can. Hi, Tammy! My glider feel off of my "Rabbit Ears" (cheap t.v. antennas) and it looked like Giblett hurt his tail. So, I took him to the vet and the vet said it was not broken and it would be fine. It has not increased its swelling, but there still is a tiny notch and his tail is not completely straight. He's still very playfull and doesn't seem to be in pain. Although, in your case...since the swelling has INCREASED, it is better to bite the bullet and take your baby to the vet. Better safe than sorry... :o)
