: I was wondering if anyone new the exact size the holes in the pet balls should be for a glider? I just got a ball and I was wondering if I should file the holes bigger or not, they are 1/8" now.

I just wanted to add that my gliders like the hamster balls. So much that they each have their own. How do I know they like it? I don't force my gliders to get into them. I put the ball in the cage and if they want to play in it they will get in the ball. I open the ball a lot if they want to get out I let them out. Usually they stay in it a while though. They love exploring in places that they usually couldn't. They play chase with each other, and it seems that they also play hide and seek. Some gliders may not like it and for the safety aspect. I looked for along time to find the ball that I felt was just right for my gliders. ( in fact I went to 6 pet stores before finding just the right one. ) I feel that these balls are very safe and their are not steps in my house that they could roll down. I also have a glider safe room. Including all the plugs covered. Sometimes the gliders like to explore the entire house. Also their balls do not smell. I clean them after they get out of them everytime. I love my babies and would not do anything that would harm them.
