wow, only a week? you're still a perfect stranger to her! One thing that helped me bond
to my boys was to give them a piece of material that I have worn all day, or longer.
They identify by smell, not sight. She won't just get used to looking at you. So if
she has that smell with her while she is sleeping, you, in essence, will be a comfortable
place for her.
