I have heard alot of controversy over using sandpaper, because it can harm the pads of their little feet. I would think that putting it in the Wodent Wheel would increase that danger, but I don't know for sure.

I am also one of those people with the nail problem. I have never clipped my babies nails and really need to learn how, as Bourbon's message from a little further down on the message board mentions. (See link) There was a discussion about nail scratches and how to avoid them or treat your skin if it happened.

I am going to get my sister to come over and help me do the job. Maybe that is a thought for you. Get someone to help you clip them, or take them to the vet. Then you can just throw that sandpaper away.
