Anyway, to answer your question. I have to assume that you have at least one unneutered male. You won't like this answer ... you don't really get used to it, you just learn to deal with it. When you wash down the cage totally, all they do is remark ... until THEY can smell it again.
I find that changing the bottom of the cage every other night makes a big difference. Also, I have stopped using the plastic bottom that comes with the cage ... I purchased a LARGE plastic birdcage bottom intended to catch the seeds thrown out ... it's very easy to clean ... also when you have people over, make sure the cage bottom has just been changed and burn a scented candle (not joking).
