Like most of you I feed percy watermelon and cantelope but I always had trouble with it spoiling before I used it all up. My grandmother gave me this advice (some of you may already know this) when you get the melon, put it in a bag and every few days change the bag it is in. The juice that is left in the bag has perservatives in it and that is what causes the melon to spoil so easily. Thought that might help a bit. It has enabled me to keep melon sometimes little over a week.
