: I am probably going to get a glider soon. It's owner says it will run around,
: over your back and stuff, and eat out of your hand, but if you hold it, it bites you.
: I have read a few ways to calm him down, but can I get some more suggestions please?
: I need assistance.

Gliders do not like to be held. They will bite if you try to be forceful or restrain them, in most cases. Gliders will stay on you because they want to. There is a right way and several wrong ways to handle a glider. They hate the "hamster hold". The only time I hold mine is when I scoop her up to put in my pocket or to put her somewhere.
Did your breeder tell you this? It sounds like they were trying to tell you.
