You need to resign yourself to the fact that gliders will probably always be illegal in your state. IF a pair of gliders were to get loose on the coastal area or in the woods of N Ca they could breed and destroy the ecosystem and food chain. There are very good historical reasons we do not allow animals to be introduced into areas they can thrive. Do some reading on what rabbits and boars did to Australia and what imported animals did to Hawaii.
