I don't know much about gliders,but I just got one 2 weeks ago and I took him to the vet just to make sure he was health the next day...so I would at least do that and if he is healthy just take him at least 1 time a year. Hope this helps!

: My vet said that I need to have percy checked out at least once a year for my own safety as well as his. Also we go about every eight weeks to have his nails trimmed. I don't do nails my self just yet.
