Well, we have tried all of this and really learned our lesson about using anything wood. Doesn't work. Our darlings had all the wood soaked in minutes and needless to say, all of that stuff has gotten thrown away. I thank you so much for your help and if you would happen to come across anything else that might help, please let me know. Thanks again, Brent : Brent, : I'm not sure how you have been cleaning out the cage, but we scrub ours down with a WEAK bleach/water solution, that eliminates about 98% of the odor (just make sure you get all the bleach off the cage). Also, if you have live tree branches in the cage for your gliders, be sure and replace them about once a week or so with fresh ones, as they get quite smeely. We also spray the surrounding walls and floor with scented disinfectant, which also helps reduce odor and maintain cleanliness. Hope this helps a little! : Andrea
