The only thing I know about this is that it is more common in males who live alone. Bourbon suggested to me that I get percy neutered as soon as I can. (which will be when I have the money) unless i plan to get another glider. That supposively helps with the self mutilation topic. I don't believe anyone really knows why it happens. It just does I am sorry to say.
