first of all, gliders eat the fruit for fluids, plus many other vitamins and such. many store dried fruits contains sulfites (a preservative) which in my opinion is one of the worst preservatives around the market today. i agree, get a dehydrater for dried treats, be sure not to use the micro-wave dehydrater though, never a good idea, nope not at all. i like blending fruits and freezing them in containers, they stay fresh for a long period of time and my gliders like it. fresh food is also recommended with any frozen or dehydrated food. just be careful and have a nice day
