When a glider goes into or is in heat, often the marsupia will swell and have apink or reddish color. I know that this alarmed me when I first saw it, until I figured it out. But, I;m sorry that I do not know about anything poking out of their privates. If you mean poking out in the belly area then that is the swelling and okay.
