Subject: I got my second baby boy yesterday

As some of you may know, I have had my glider Ichabod since November. The same parents that Ichy came from had another set of joeys just after I got him. That is where I got my second glider, whom I named Toby. I got Toby yesterday.
Toby, unlike Ichy, seems very sad to be away from his mommy and daddy home. I have them in separated cages placed next to each other so they can see each other and maybe talk back and forth. In a few days I will let them be together (in my presence of course) and see how things go.
Do you think because they are closely related and both males (Ichy is fixed, by the way) that they will get along all right?
Also, as I said, Toby seems very sad to be here for the first time. I reach into his cage and stroke him a bit to console him. He slept in his new pouch all day yesterday but he is currently sleeping in his empty food bowl which is GOOD because he's eating fine! Do you think I should do much more for now? I know it is said that to leave them in their cage the first few days is good so they can adapt to the sights and sounds of their new hom but since he seems quite sad I feel like maybe I should spend extra time with him instead of leaving him in there.

Thanks for those who choose to respond.
